Confidence is the willingness to try knowing there are two outcomes.
Either you succeed or you survive.
It is not who else I would become but rather what else. If but just for a moment. All the characteristics that limit me would be no more and I would be fearless. I would be bold. I would be spontaneous. I would be free.
This is a perfect response! I’ve often wished that I could live more fearlessly. At the same time, I’ve wondered what’s holding me back. If only we could try on new personalities as easily as new clothing. Or can we begin making small alterations that one day become the person that our younger, more timid selves would idolize?
